What is TMC ?

TMC (this service) holds and distributes tiled map images provided by Map Providing Service as tiled images.

In contrast to WMS (at Map Providing Service) which generates each request time, TMC generates at first request and simply returns generated images after that. Thus, WWW application with TMC can run faster rather than ones with WMS.

Terms of use

TMC Terms of Use is as same as Map Providing Service Terms of Use.

How to use tmc

URL of TMS is:

https://aginfo.cgk.affrc.go.jp/ws/tmc/1.0.0/{LAYER}/{Z}/{X}/{Y}.{EXT}

Not "tms", but "tmc" (3rd charachter is not 's' but 'c').

WMTS (RESTful)

This service is compliant with OGC WMTSRESTful (but does not support KVP). Capabilities document exists at following URL.
